The surgery

What is breast augmentation?

Breast augmentation is surgery that adds volume, projection and shape to the breasts with silicone gel implants. Size, shape and placement are chosen for your body and your goals.

The goal is a bust in proportion with your height, shoulders and hips, that looks and feels natural.

If there is also sagging, the consultation assesses whether to combine it with a breast lift (mastopexy).

  • Volume

A fuller cup size, in proportion with your figure.

  • Shape

A fuller, rounder bust, especially in the upper part.

  • Symmetry

Improves size differences between one side and the other.

  • After pregnancy

Restores volume lost after pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • Implant tailored to you

Size, profile and shape chosen from your measurements and your goals.

  • Discreet scar

Usually in the crease under the breast, where it is barely visible.

Is it for you?

Who is a good candidate.

  • You are over 18 and in good health.
  • You want more volume or a better shape.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not smoke, or can stop before and after surgery.

Your consultation with the doctor confirms the implant type and technique that suit you.

Step by step

How it works.

  1. Consultation

The doctor takes your measurements, shows you size and shape options, and explains the implant type and placement that suit you.

  2. Surgery

Performed in an operating room under general anesthesia; it usually takes one to two hours.

  3. Recovery

You wear a surgical bra for several weeks. Many people return to office work in about a week, and to exercise between 4 and 6 weeks.

  4. Result

The implants settle gradually; the final shape is seen between 3 and 6 months.

Timelines are approximate; the doctor gives you your exact plan.

FAQ

What everyone asks about breast augmentation.

If your question is not here, send it on WhatsApp and the office will reply.

What is the best implant?

There is no one-size-fits-all. It depends on your skin, your build and what you are looking for. In the video above the doctor explains the options, and at your consultation he tells you which one suits you.

Can I breastfeed with implants?

In most cases, yes. The doctor explains it in the video above and reviews it with you at your consultation.

What do the scars look like?

They are small and planned in discreet areas, such as the crease under the breast. With proper care, over time they usually become barely noticeable.

How often do implants need to be replaced?

Today's implants do not have a fixed replacement date. Regular check-ups are recommended, and the doctor tells you the follow-up for your case.

When can I go back to work?

Many people return to office work in about a week. The doctor gives you your recovery plan.

How much does breast augmentation cost in Monterrey?

It depends on the implant type and your case. At your consultation you receive a clear, complete quote.
